You can extend your coverage before you depart on your trip (please call us or send us an email with the request – additional premium will be required ). If you decide to extend your trip after you have departed your country of origin, you may apply for a new period of coverage provided you meet the Eligibility requirements, before coverage under your policy expires . Each policy or period of coverage is considered a separate contract and all limitations and exclusions will apply (Waiting Period Coverage for losses resulting from any sickness will begin 48 hours after the effective date ,if you purchase your policy after the expiry date of an existing policy).
